When I try to update the employee it says I can't, "see incorrect employee info below" (see other image below) Now after the payroll update this week, I'm getting this orange circle with an exclamation point (see image below). Neither state has reciprocity with each other.

The reason I need this is because my CPA told me to do this due to having roaming employees working in two neighboring states. Today's update now breaks having multiple employees with the same SSN. More non-improvements from QuickBooks Desktop down the pipe-line. While on the phone they blamed the IRS for this, which makes me wonder why does the IRS have direct access to how QuickBooks desktop functions on my computer? **UPDATE/RESOLVED** **UPDATE/RESOLVED** QuickBooks has an investigation open for this and has released an update reverting it back so it now works again with duplicate SSN's.
